SAVONET MUSEUM - Furniture
The Savonet Museum has a versatile collection on loan. It was therefore necessary to have a large number of showcases in various sizes. The benches were designed specifically for the museum and made of hard wood and stainless steel because of the climate that quickly affects a lot of furniture.
Old antique furniture from the old country house has been restored by a local carpenter who had all the knowledge still home to restore the cabinets, tables and chairs again. Several cabinets are used in combination with modern showcases yet to give a higher profile to the central hall.
On the old restored mirrors, the portraits of the last occupants of Savonet were made with foil.
In addition to the showcases, the cabinets, lampshades and counters for the shop were designed by Atelier Agos.
The narrow LED TV screens that are part of the audio tour were mounted on special furniture so that the scenes are very difficult to steal.
The Guide ID (Podcatcher) of Guide ID was put into a new concept. Atelier Argos designed the first models for this. Based on this basis, Guide ID has developed a new model, which has now been used in more than 160 museums worldwide. More about the Savonet Museum is here, about the Wall and all the Graphics.
SAVONET MUSEUM - Meubels
Het Savonet Museum heeft een veelzijdige collectie in bruikleen. Het was daaarom nodig on een groot aantal vitrines te hebben in diverse maten. De zitbankjes werden speciaal voor het museum ontworpen en uitgevoerd in hard hout en rvs vanwege het klimaat dat veel meubilair gauw aantast.
Oude antiek meubilair uit het oude landhuis is speciaal gerestaureerd door een plaatselijke meubelmaker die alle kennis nog in huis had om de kasten, tafeltjes en stoelen weer te herstellen. Een paar kasten zijn gebruikt in combinatie met moderne vitrines om de centrale zaal nog meer uitstraling te geven.
Op de gerestaureerde spiegels werden de portretten aangebracht van de laatste bewoners van Savonet.
Naast de vitrines werden ook de kasten, lampenkappen en balies voor de shop door Atelier Agos ontworpen.
De smalle led tv-schermen die een onderdeel vormen van de audio-tour werden op speciale meubels gemonteerd zodat de schermen zeer lastig te stelen zijn.
De audio guide (Podcatcher) van Guide ID werd in een nieuw concept gestoken. Atelier Argos ontwierp de eerste modellen hiervoor. Vanuit deze basis heeft Guide ID een nieuw model laten ontwikkelen dat inmiddels in meer dan 160 musea wereldwijd gebruikt wordt.
