The Savonet Museum is on a busy main road and the management of Carmabi would like more rest on the property. The solution was found in building a wall along the entire museum complex. The wall was 300 m long. Atelier Argos was commissioned to design the wall and Techcon bv from Willemstad provided technical guidance and supervision on the construction of the wall. Inspiration was found in existing walls around and the idea of using the wall as a carrier of image and text.
Het Savonet Museum ligt aan een drukke hoofdweg en de directie van Carmabi wilde graag dat er meer rust zou komen op het terrein. De oplossing werd gevonden in het bouwen van een muur langs het gehele museum complex. De muur werd ruim 300 m lang. Atelier Argos kreeg de opdracht om de muur te ontwerpen en Techcon bv uit Willemstad verzorgde de technische begeleiding en de supervisie over de constructie van de muur. Inspiratie werd gevonden in bestaande muren rondom en het idee om de muur als drager van beeld en tekst te kunnen gebruiken.
