SAVONET MUSEUM
The Savonet Museum originated from a concept by Felix de Rooy.
On behalf of the Carmabi Foundation, a new destination was devised for the existing and unique country house and its outbuildings. Atelier Argos was responsible for the management, design and coordination of the project in consultation with the client. Techcon N.V. of Willemstad, headed by G. and J. van den Heuvel.
Financing was done by USONA (Willemstad).

The start of the project was March 2007. By the end of 2010, the country house was completed with outbuildings. The Magasinas where the natural museum had to come in were eventually not executed.

The project consisted of a new wall along the complex, redevelopment of the buildings including lighting. A house style for the museum with signage and information panels. New furniture and old antique furniture that were restored, showcases, closets, and a complete catering facility.
In addition, a complete audio-visual program was offered through films made by Felix de Rooy with Carmabi's Leon Pors.
The movies were listened in 4 languages thanks to the Guide ID podcatcher (audio guide). Solar panels were built on the site for a sustainable museum with the help of Andre Hagendijk and partners.

Het project bestond uit een nieuwe muur langs het complex, herinrichting van de gebouwen inclusief verlichting. Een huisstijl voor het museum met signing en informatie panelen. Nieuw meubilair en oude antieke meubels die gerestaureerd werden, vitrines, kasten, en een complete voorziening voor horeca.
Verder werd er een compleet Audio-visueel programma aangeboden door middel van films die Felix de Rooy had gemaakt met Leon Pors van Carmabi.
De films waren in 4 talen te beluisteren dankzij de Podcatcher van Guide ID (audio-guide). Op het terrein werden zonnepanlen aangelegd voor een duurzaam museum met hulp van Andre Hagendijk en partners.
