A postmodern table
In 1988 I made the first design for this table and the first presentation drawings.
In 1989 I started to work seriously on the implementation through technical drawings and finally the table was finished in 1990 when I graduated from the AKI Art Academy in Enschede.
The table consisted of a total of 7 parts, 3 of which are unique parts, each twice and a table top.
The table was in my house for years until February 2017.
While moving to another home, the table was damaged beyond repair.
In 2021 I redrawn the design but now in Illustrator and Cinema4D. Then exported as FBX and processed in Adobe Dimension into a series of new images.
The original piece of furniture had been treated with spachtelputz, which provided matt and shiny effects. This has also been brought back to the virtual model in Adobe Dimension.
Een postmodern tafel
In 1988 maakte ik het eerste ontwerp voor deze tafel en de eerste presentatie tekeningen.
In 1989 begon ik serieus aan de uitvoering te werken middels technische tekeningen en uiteindelijk was de tafel klaar in 1990 toen ik afstudeerde aan de Kunstacademie AKI in Enschede.
De tafel bestond uit totaal uit 7 onderdelen, waarvan 3 unieke onderdelen, elk twee keer en een tafelblad.
De tafel stond jaren in mijn huis tot februari 2017.
Tijdens het verhuizen naar een andere woning, raakte de tafel onherstelbaar beschadigd.
In 2021 heb ik het ontwerp opnieuw getekend maar nu in Illustrator en Cinema4D. Vervolgens als FBX geëxporteerd en in Adobe Dimension verwerkt tot een serie nieuwe beelden.
Het originele meubel was behandeld met spachtelputz, wat zorgde voor matte en glimmende effecten. Dit is ook terug gebracht in het virtuele model in Adobe Dimension.
